Usually, treatment with braces begins at age 10-12, when all permanent teeth have erupted and the pubertal growth peak has occurred, when the best treatment results can be achieved.
But there are cases when treatment needs to start as early as 7-9 years of age, and we fix a partial bracket system of 4-6 braces in the shift bite.
