Children's aligners — are transparent mouth guards made of hypoallergenic plastic for correcting bite and uneven teeth from the age of 6 years. They move the teeth in all planes with even pressure and ensure the correct growth of future permanent teeth.

Orthodontic treatment process

Diagnostic stage. Before starting treatment, it is necessary to undergo a consultation with an orthodontist, take a 3D image and casts.

Modeling Stage. The impressions are sent to the laboratory, where a virtual model of the jaw and a customized set of mouthguards are created. At this stage, you can already see what your smile will look like when the treatment is complete.

2-4 weeks

Orthodontic treatment. Mouthguards must be worn for at least 22 hours a day and removed only during meals and brushing your teeth. Aligners are changed to new ones about once a month, it is mandatory to visit an orthodontist for checkups.

8-12 months

Retention period. After aligning the teeth with eliners, the result is fixed with removable or fixed retainers. During this time, it is advisable for the patient to have periodic check-ups with their orthodontist.

Aligners or records?

Plates, although more usual for aligning teeth, have serious disadvantages, the main of which — it is low efficiency. In addition, a complex structure made of plastic, metal is always very visible in the mouth, can interfere with diction, scratch the mucosa or teeth. Therefore, children often do not wear plates without parental supervision. As a result, treatment becomes even longer and unproductive.
