When modeling a Set-Up in Eurocapp, it is possible to «introduce» data from a CT scan. How is Set-Up treatment on aligners created?
Any orthodontic correction, as well as treatment on aligners, begins with the stage of diagnosis and planning. The orthodontist will need dental scans, photographs, CT scan data and orthodontic calculations (3D cephalometry). All data is uploaded to the personal account of EUROKAPPA, and the doctor prescribes a clear treatment plan:

EUROKAPPA orthodontic technologist receives «recipe» and, following the orthodontist's plan, moves the teeth and calculates the number of caps. The Set-Up is then sent to the orthodontist for approval, and if necessary, changes and corrections are made until the virtual simulation of the treatment is perfect and definitive.
How are the aligners made?
After the virtual treatment plan has been agreed upon, the manufacturing phase of the aligners begins. Each step (i.e. each pair of aligners) corresponds to a virtual model of the dentition.

For the manufacture of aligners, all virtual models are printed on a 3D printer.

Then the models are placed in a thermoforming press unit, in which an aligner is created under a pressure of 6 atm.

A laser engraving with an ordinal number is necessarily applied to each mouthguard.

Then the edges of the aligner are trimmed and polished manually.

Each aligner is disinfected and packed in an airtight individual package.

The finished set of caps is sent to the clinic, and your treatment begins.

How to wear aligners and how to take care of them?
Aligners must be worn at all times (at least 22 hours a day), except for eating and brushing. The mouth guards should be replaced approximately every 10-14 days after the movements programmed in the mouth guard have been completed. Do not drink too hot beverages or eat too much food while wearing the aligners, as this will deform the material of the mouth guard.
