Guarantees

What is a guarantee to us? It is the assurance that we have been provided with a quality service or sold a quality product.

What is a guarantee for a manufacturer, retailer or clinic? It is the assurance that the customer will come back to them again.

Guarantees in dentistry – an indicator of the patient's trust in the clinic and an indicator of the clinic's confidence in the quality of its services.

Medical product warranties

The clinic is obliged to use only those medical products that meet Russian safety requirements and are fit for their intended use according to their expiration date.

Quality assurance of medical services

The clinic shall provide paid services of such quality that comply with the terms of the contract or the requirements of the Federal Law and regulations of the Russian Federation.

What does it mean? Proper performance of services by the clinic in accordance with the requirements of legal, professional and moral and ethical standards, compliance with the quality and protocols of medical care, ensuring the safety of the service.

What can't the clinic guarantee?

The clinic cannot guarantee a 100% result and its positive lasting effect. This may be considered by the law as misleading the patient.

Patient rights

The patient has the right to hold the clinic legally liable when it has provided a defective service. This is when the clinic or the doctor has acted unlawfully. The patient is entitled to moral compensation in any case and financial compensation if they can prove the connection between the clinic's work and the consequences.

There is such a thing as a defect in a medical service. It can be the result of wrongdoing on the part of the clinic, the patient, or it can be independent of either party.

Therefore, in a defect case, the court will elaborate on the reasons before making a judgment.

Medical service warranty period

The clinic does not have the right to guarantee 100% of the result of the service, but it has the right to establish a warranty period for its objectified component, such as a crown or filling.

This is left to the discretion of the clinic. A clinic that is fully confident in the professionalism of its doctors, the quality of the materials used, the diagnostic capabilities and the level of technical equipment can do so.

Warranty period – is the period during which, if a defect in the work performed is detected, the Clinic undertakes to correct it at the patient's request.

Clinic «Konfidencia» in case of detection of a defect in the work during the warranty period is obliged:

  • to fix them at no cost;
  • reduce the price of the work done accordingly;
  • to produce another item of the same quality from a homogeneous material or to re-perform the work free of charge.

Length of service in medicine

Service life – the period during which the Clinic undertakes to ensure that the patient can use the result of the work for the intended purpose and is responsible for significant disadvantages, arising before the patient accepts the result of work (service) or for reasons arising before that moment.

Significant disadvantage – an irreparable defect or a defect that cannot be remedied without disproportionate cost or time, or that is repeatedly detected, or that appears again after it has been remedied, or other similar defects.

If significant deficiencies in performance are identified Clinic «Konfidencia» is obliged to satisfy the patient's claim for free remedying of defects or, if the detected defect is irrecoverable, a claim for:

  • a corresponding reduction in the price for the work performed;
  • refusal to fulfil the work contract and reimbursement of damages.
The warranty period and service life – are warranty obligations. They are calculated from the day the work is performed or the service is rendered to the patient.

Warranty obligations of the Clinic «Konfidencia»

No warranty claims are established for:

  • endodontic treatment;
  • professional hygiene;
  • a temporary filling;
  • tooth extraction surgery;
  • a cystectomy with root apex resection;
  • dental implant surgery;
  • teeth whitening;
  • orthodontic treatment.

Особенности гарантийных обязательств

The warranty periods and service life may be reduced or increased in each individual case. The decision is made by the attending physician depending on:

  • of the clinical situation in the oral cavity;
  • the presence of concomitant diseases that directly or indirectly lead to changes in the teeth and surrounding tissues;
  • the completeness of the patient's compliance with the treatment plan recommended by the doctor.
In cases where warranty periods and service periods are not imposed on the work or are imposed for a shorter duration than stipulated, the doctor will warn you of this and ask you to sign a document confirming what he says.

Responsibilities of the patient to maintain the warranty

  • Compliance and fulfilment of prescriptions and recommendations of the Clinic's doctors.
  • Compliance with oral care regulations.
  • Passing preventive check-ups at the time specified by the attending physician.
  • Prompt attendance at appointments when complications arise.
  • Correction of treatment deficiencies only at the Clinic.
In case of non-compliance with the doctor's instructions, the warranty will not be maintained.

Implant warranty

If the implant fails to take root, the re-implantation of the implant within the agreed treatment plan is at the expense of the Clinic. In case of impossibility of re-implantation, the amount paid for implantation services is taken into account for prosthetics.

If the customer refuses to place a dental prosthesis on the implant installed by the Clinic, the implant warranty shall not be maintained.

What should you do if you are concerned about the outcome of your treatment?

In case of any complaints about the services rendered, the patient should immediately make an appointment with the attending physician.

After the examination, the doctor decides whether the case is a warranty case or whether there are significant defects. In case of doubt as to whether the case is a warranty case or if there are significant defects, a meeting of the medical committee of the Clinic is held, which makes the final decision on this issue.
