Why a diagnosis before placing eliners? 
Diagnosis with an orthodontist involves collecting data about the condition of the mouth to develop a treatment plan. For analysis, the orthodontist uses: 3D CT scan, digital tooth scan and photoprotocol. With these tools, he or she obtains information about the shape and condition of the bite, the position of the teeth in the bone, and the condition of the vns and airways.
The development of a treatment plan — is an intellectual work of the doctor, invisible to the patient, but the most important for the successful correction of the bite. The doctor geometrically calculates the movement of the teeth and proposes the safest and most effective plan options to the patient.
What are the prices of eliners made up of?
Orthodontic treatment at our clinic includes:
Virtual Setup for Eliners — is a simulation of the movement and final result on a 3D model of the patient's teeth. The technology allows you to plan the exact number of mouthguards and visualize how your smile will look after treatment is complete. The set-up is always coordinated with the patient and adjusted if necessary. Why do I have to pay for the set-up separately if the diagnosis has already been made? The modeling is created by a dental technician from the eliner manufacturer's lab, and the orthodontist in the clinic checks the final work and makes adjustments. This is a mandatory intermediate step between the diagnosis and the printing of the eliners.
Fabrication of the eliners and fitting of the attachments. When the treatment set-up is agreed upon, the mouth guards are printed at the manufacturer's factory and sent to the clinic. At the appointment, the orthodontist installs the attachments — the small composite buttons needed to properly guide the eliners. Afterward, the patient is given the mouthguards and explained how to wear and care for them. Depending on the manufacturer, the cost of making the mouthguards can vary.
Orthodontic treatment (of varying degrees of complexity) — this includes all orthodontic appointments and unscheduled visits until the end of treatment.
Difficulty Light — is designed for a clinical case duration of 8 months to 1.5 years.
Difficulty Standart — clinical case with a treatment duration of 1.5 to 2 years.
Difficulty Plus — correction of complex pathologies lasting 2 years or more. Usually includes large tooth movements, treatment with extraction, closing large gaps.

What do I need to do after removing my eliners?
When the patient removes the last pair of elainers, he or she comes to the orthodontist for a checkup. If the result is optimal, stable and satisfactory for both the doctor and the patient, the doctor removes the attachments.
The patient undergoes professional hygiene to polish away composite residue from attachments and remove plaque.
The orthodontist then places a thin wire — retainer at the back of the teeth that will hold the teeth in position, and issues a night mouth guard. Our patients can maintain the retainer free of charge for two years after removal and come in for preventive checkups with the doctor for quality control.
Why do eliners cost so much?
Bite Mouthguards — is a high-tech product, the cost of which includes investments in clinical research, software development and manufacturing equipment. Manufacturers strive to make an effective and comfortable product, so they look for the thinnest and most transparent material to make it comfortable for patients to wear the mouth guard. And they develop software for setups that allows them to detail movements to fractions of a millimeter and reduce the risks of poor orthodontics. If the eliners are manufactured abroad, logistics are also factored into the cost of the product.
