Can braces be placed twice?

There are no strict contraindications to retreatment with a brace system.

It all depends on the initial clinical situation and the wishes of the patient. A second orthodontic treatment may even be necessary if 1 tooth or group of teeth has relapsed after the first treatment — 1 tooth or group of teeth has regained the wrong position. Recurrences may occur due to non-compliance with the orthodontist's recommendations after treatment — not wearing a retainer or not wearing a rational prosthesis as indicated.
