Can CT scans be done with braces?

You can and should, CT scan — a mandatory step of treatment monitoring.

With CT scans, we check the correct position of the tooth roots in the bone and other important parameters for the treatment plan. We usually do CT scans for treatment planning, at least 1-2 times during braces and after braces are removed.

The presence of braces does not affect the quality of the CT scan.

The presence of braces does not affect the quality and safety of the image.
