Answer Petrova Elena Alexandrovna

Orthodontist, Team lead TMJ, experience 11 years

Based on the data provided, we can note that you are characterized by:

  1. Slight crowding of teeth in the upper jaw.
  2. Moderate crowding of teeth in the lower jaw.

Bite correction and teeth alignment is possible using several methods:

  1. Moving the lower teeth forward – increasing the inclination of the incisors. Separation may be necessary (grinding the teeth in a safe amount, which reduces their size and frees up the necessary space to flatten the crowding)
    Limitation: in this case, we are limited to the bone volume in the area of the anterior teeth. This can only be assessed on a 3D image.
  2. Moving the upper teeth backwards (to reduce their inclination) - this requires space in the tooth row, which we can get in your case as a result:
    • separation – grinding the teeth in a safe volume, as a result of which they are reduced in size and free the necessary space (up to 2-3 mm on each side);
  3. If you are concerned about the gingival smile (in your case it is not very pronounced), it is possible to embed (lift up) the teeth on the upper jaw with the support of micro-implants (4-8 micro-implants).

Please note that these recommendations are for informational purposes only.  Consultation and diagnosis by an orthodontist is required to make a diagnosis and prescribe a treatment plan.
